Citygrove acquired a 14-acre brownfield development site from Arla Foods and secured detailed planning permission comprising a 95,000 sq ft Asda, 12- screen Cineworld, 5 restaurants, 162 residential units and high-quality public realm. A £60m forward funding agreement was secured with Standard Life Investments for the commercial element, and Citygrove successfully procured and delivered a £30m build contract on time and on budget. The residential component was successfully delivered by Bellway Homes.

The regeneration project created 536 both full time and part-time jobs and was the winner of the RICS London Award for Regeneration.
